Matisse Thybulle, 4-star SF prospect, commits to Huskies basketball team

Washington picked up another oral commitment from a highly-rated local basketball recruit, as 6-foot-6 small-forward prospect Matisse Thybulle from Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish tweeted that he plans to play for the Huskies.

Thybulle is considered a 4-star recruit by, and is ranked the No. 15 player at his position in the 2015 recruiting class. He was also considering Gonzaga.

Thybulle's commitment gives the Huskies four 4-star recruits in the 2015 class -- Rainier Beach guard David Crisp and small forward Dejounte Murray, plus power forward prospect Marquese Chriss -- presuming each of them sign letters of intent. Each player is ranked in Scout's list of the nation's top 100 prospects for 2015. had UW's 2015 class ranked No. 7 nationally prior to Thybulle's commitment.
