Report: Devenir Duruisseau, 6-9 PF prospect, commits to Washington

According to's Josh Gershon, yet another prospect from the 2015 recruiting class has committed to Washington: 6-foot-9, 240-pound power forward prospect Devenir Duruisseau from Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, Va.

Duruisseau, who lists his hometown as Palmdale, Calif. and played last season at Sylmar High School, is considered a 3-star recruit by ESPN. Don't see a ranking for him from Scout, though his bio there does list offers from California and Colorado.

If all players committed to UW's for the 2015 class do end up signing and enrolling and all that, the Huskies will be overbooked, presuming nobody leaves early -- they currently have nine scholarship players who aren't seniors, and with six players now committed for 2015, that would give them 15 scholarship players for the 2015-16 season.

That's obviously two over the limit, though coach Lorenzo Romar has been in this situation before -- you've surely heard of "Romar Math" -- and it does tend to work itself out. Still, for each of those committed players to enroll and be on scholarship next season, the Huskies will have to make room somehow.
