Morning links: Huskies starting QB remains unknown (publicly, anyway)

It's Friday. These are links.

--- You see above the Huskies' uniform combination for Saturday's 7:45 p.m. game against Arizona State. Should be a rainy one.

--- Here's our notebook in today's newspaper, leading with coach Chris Petersen's comments yesterday that "everybody's day to day in our program." That means no definitive update on Cyler Miles, who has been limited in practice this week after suffering concussion-like symptoms following last week's game at Oregon. If he isn't healthy enough to play, redshirt freshman Troy Williams will make his first career start.

--- Adam Jude writes about future Huskies quarterback Jake Browning, who has signed a financial-aid agreement and will enroll at UW in January.

--- A Q-and-A preview of Saturday's game from Arizona State's student paper and the UW Daily.

--- LB Shaq Thompson gets another mention as the Pac-12's top defensive player here.

--- Here's a recap of Pac-12 men's basketball media day from a UW perspective. The Huskies were picked to finish 6th in the Pac-12 by media members who cover the conference. Coach Lorenzo Romar and sophomore point guard Nigel Williams-Goss represented the Huskies in San Francisco. Here's what they said at the podium session.

--- Arizona State isn't worried about rain this weekend.

--- ASU is taking it easy on one of its tight ends during practices.

--- There is one Pac-12 game tonight, with Oregon visiting California for a 7 p.m. game in Santa Clara (FOX Sports 1). Cal's offense could be dangerous. ... The game will be played at Levi's Stadium, so if you're going, go early (and plan on taking forever to get out afterward).
