There still isn’t a definitive update regarding the health of quarterback Jake Browning’s right throwing shoulder, though Huskies coach Chris Petersen said Monday that “we’ll see how he is tomorrow” before determining his practice availability.
Browning did throw the ball some during practice last week, Petersen said, but the decision was made to start redshirt freshman K.J. Carta-Samuels against Stanford, instead. Browning threw a few short passes during warmups before the game, but didn’t have much of a chance to play.
Petersen said after the game that “there’s a big hope” Browning will be able to play Saturday against Arizona. On Monday, Petersen said: “It’s just how much he can put on the ball. Every day he’s a little bit better, all those things.”
“... If he’s ready to roll, he’s ready to roll. Hopefully he is.”
