Score 26 points in the 65-28 win over Christian Faith
Mount Rainier Lutheran 65, Christian Faith 28: The Hawks shutout the Eagles in the first quarter and won handily behind the play of Adam Bailey.
Bailey led all scores, putting up 26 points and nearly outscoring the Eagles himself. Jack Shannon was the next leading scorer for the Hawks with 11.
Clive Pond and Jaylen Kimani were the leaders for the Eagles, combining for 25 points. Pond threw up 13 and Kimani had 12.
The Hawks have a shot to take the number one seed in the SeaTac West Division for the 1B tridistrict tournament when they play against Tacoma Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Tacoma Baptist High School.
Northwest Christian 62, North Beach 53: The Navigators leaned on Tony Dominguez’s 23 points to help get them the win against the Hyaks.
Dominguez led all scores in the game where the Navigators held a slim lead at the half of 30-26. However, a large outpour of scoring in the fourth quarter sealed the deal for Northwest Christian.
Also leading for the Navigators was Jude Phillips scoring 11 and Noah Phillips scoring 10. The Hyaks were led by Steven Sotomish scoring 19 and Marcus Pope scoring 14.
