The skinny: Talk about offense. A day after the Vikings were held to three hits in a 3-0 loss to Huntington Beach in the quarterfinals, they responded with 12 runs on 11 hits to win in five innings on Friday. With a four-run lead after two innings, Puyallup exploded for eight runs in the third with Ryan Peterson, Kenton Robillard and Brendan Illies each hitting RBI-doubles.
