Steele Isaacs, Sumner football

Isaacs, the lead running back, took 26 carries for 160 yards and two touchdowns (6.2 YPC) in Sumner’s runaway win over Skyview in the 4A quarterfinals.

FOOTBALL

Bryson Allen, Franklin Pierce — Had a 69-yard touchdown run in Franklin Pierce’s 2A quarterfinal loss to W.F. West.

Carter Cocke, Sumner — Spartans TE scored three touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing) to lift Sumner over Skyview in Saturday’s 4A quarterfinals. Cocke secured three passes for 32 yards and two touchdowns and took his only carry for a one-yard score.

Mikkah Cordero, Mount Tahoma — T-Birds quarterback threw touchdown passes of 60 and 20 yards, adding a third score on the ground in Mount Tahoma’s 42-21 loss at O’Dea in Friday’s 3A state quarterfinals.

Anthony Mancao, Lincoln — Had five tackles, two tackle assists, a tackle for loss and a sack in 3A quarterfinal loss to Eastside Catholic.

Sunny Nguyen, Tumwater — T-Birds RB handled three carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns in Tumwater’s 70-7 win over Sehome in 2A quarterfinals.

Cash Short, Tumwater — T-Birds RB/LB carried three times for 61 yards and a 52-yard touchdown run, snagged a first-quarter pick-six, tackled 10 (3 TFL), sacked three and forced a safety in Tumwater’s 70-7 win in the 2A quarterfinals.

Kanoa Teplasy, Lincoln — Caught six passes for 60 yards and a touchdown in loss to Eastside Catholic.
