Editor’s note: He’s not just a kid from Graham. Graham-Kapowsin offensive lineman Foster Sarell is considered the top-ranked offensive line recruit in the country by multiple scouting services, and he’ll use The News Tribune to journal his final summer in high school.
Hey everybody it’s Foster here again with another update about my summer.
So far after letting the dust settle from The Opening I’ve been able to just be a kid a little bit and enjoy my summer (even though the sun has been hidden). But nonetheless it has been good, a lot of lifting and hanging with my boys which has been great.

(Editor’s note: Sarell has been weightlifting four days per week, an hour each day, with another hour of agility work after that).
Also I have been really trying to get out on the golf course and swing the sticks with my dad and grandpa, I shot a 90 which even though isn’t very good, I’ll take it for now, haha!
Football season is just around the corner now and I couldn’t be more excited, Friday night games, under the lights with the stands packed, it just gives me the chills.
I can’t wait to see what my senior year has in store for me and the team. I think we got a good chance of doing some special things, we all get along real well and I think we all get what the main goal is and that’s just a good thing when the whole team is on the same page.
So for now I am going to try and close my summer out with good times with my boys and preparing for my last year of high school, crazy to think that.
