A spring to remember for Mariners continues

Down 1-0 after three innings, trailing the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 late, the Seattle Mariners rolled out five ninth inning runs to win for the ninth time in 13 games this spring, 7-4.

A pair of doubles by center fielder Michael Saunders, a two-run single in the ninth for rookie Alex Liddi and the Mariners broke open a tie game to push their Cactus League record to 9-3-1

Hector Noesi went three innings and allowed one run, and picked a man off first base for the first time in his career. Who was more surprised, Noesi or Norichika Aoki?

"Me," Noesi said.

Afterward, manager Eric Wedge praised Saunders, Liddi and Noesi, each of whom has had a good spring. Saunders began the day batting .389, then went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and two runs scored.
