A Friday to remember in Mariners camp

Today will be the last day in camp for some of the Seattle Mariners, with cuts planned tomorrow to get the roster below 40, but if you love pitching, this is one memorable day.

Felix Hernandez is starting a 1 p.m. game in Tucson against Milwaukee and Hisashi Iwakuma is starting another at 7 p.m. in Phoenix against Oakland - that one broadcast on 710 ESPN radio. And in minor league games this afternoon, James Paxton and Dan Hultzen are each starting a game.

With Brendan Ryan given a second day in a row off to quiet a tight quad muscle, the Mariners are a little short of up-the-middle infielders, so 21-year-old Venezuelan infielder Gabriel Noriega will fill in at shortstop tonight.
