The Seattle Mariners snapped their losing streak last night, so Eric Wedge surprised most by posting the same lineup for today's game - with one minor change.
John Jaso will catch, Jesus Montero will DH. Everything else? The same.
Hector Noesi has pitched better of late, though not quite as well as the Mariners had hoped. His hold on a rotation spot may depend upon his next few outings, because Erasmo Ramirez is lurking.
So, after losing seven in a row, can the Mariners start a streak by winning their second straight?

If cleanup hitter Montero can get it going again, he's got the man hitting behind him - Kyle Seager - who can keep it going. Seager's 16 RBI lead the team, and 10 of those RBI came with two outs. That ranks third in the American League.
Not to overstate the obvious, but what the Mariners is runs. They can find the innings from Noesi or the bullpen, but without runs, it's a moot point.
Don't expect seven, like they put up last night. But to win, they're going to need three or four. Put your thoughts down now!
