Mariners free Jaso, who'll catch Felix today

The fourth and final game of the Kansas City series today will be played in temperatures forecast at 106 degrees but fear not - Felix Hernandez has promised he will take the mound wearing his usual long sleeves.

The Seattle Mariners will no doubt be hosing their players down between innings, but manager Eric Wedge has started John Jaso at catcher. Expect him to lose about 10 pounds of water weight before the team flies to Tampa, Fla. tonight.

The heat wave has fired up Mariners bats, and the team that scored 25 runs in it's last 27 innings will try to take their third game here. The only real change in the lineup today is Jaso, playing for the much beloved Miguel Olivo.
