SEATTLE — It isn’t just the Mariners’ roster that getting an off-season makeover. The club continued to revamp its front-office staff Wednesday through four additions to its scouting group.
Todd Donovan is the new assistant director of player personnel, while Nick Manno, Andy Pratt and Jason Lefkowitz have been hired as major-league scouts.
All will serve under Tom Allison, who earlier received a promotion to vice president for player personnel.
The club’s news release said Donovan, 37, will be active in all three facets of the scouting operations: professional, amateur and international.

Donovan spent last season as a special assignment scout at Tampa Bay after serving the previous five seasons at Arizona in various scouting capacities.
Manno, 34, worked as a scout for Toronto since December 2009. He also previously worked for the Montreal/Washington organization.
Pratt, 37, served the last five seasons as a pro scout for Milwaukee and worked for Texas from 2007-11.
Lefkowitz, 32, was a pro scout for Houston for the last two years after previously working as an associate scout for the New York Yankees.
