The only thing we have to report at this point is Julius Peppers' knee sprain. He was not able to return there at the end.
This game is a lot about confidence. It's a lot about belief. I think our offense did an excellent job of kindling that belief and I think it kept our defense going. We played well in spots this year. I thought today was the most complete against a very capable opponent.
RE: Matt Moore
It was good. He's a guy we've been working with for a short time. He had a great week of preparation. The veteran guys were really good with him as far as in that preparation. Our offensive staff, Mike McCoy and Jeff Davidson, did an outstanding job. He had some rough spots, but he made some good throws. We've seen him throw the ball. It's just when and where that is critical for a young quarterback. He operated pretty good today for his first outing.
RE: Chance of starting Testaverde today?
We had a good idea what we were going to do. It fell like we expected.
RE: Getting the ball to Steve Smith
We've tried to do that all season. Unfortunately we haven't been as consistent with the execution of it. Steve's been very patient. He's done a tremendous job all season in a tough spot. I was happy to see us be able to get him the ball downfield a little bit deeper than we have as of late.
RE: Matt Moore starting against Dallas?
If you ask me right now I'd say yes, but again things change and we'll go day to day. Based on his performance today, that is the direction we'll be moving in as we move forward.
RE: Did wind play a factor?
Yes, if you saw that first field goal, it was brutal. It was hard for everybody involved. In a particular quarter, you had the wind at your back offensively it was a factor and in the kicking game, both punters and kickers.
RE: Team still playing tough
It sounds simple, but it's hard. I have a lot of respect for the kind of guys we have in that locker room. We've had a tough hand here for a while and they have hung in there and fought. I was glad to see them be able to get a win today.
