(opening…) Well, there was a lot of football to evaluate tomorrow. I was pleased with a good portion of it, and some of it was pretty ugly. We have, as can happen in the preseason, you have special teams breakdowns, because you are working with a lot of different combinations, and sometimes it happens. However, having said there, there were too many tonight, that is for sure. But, we won the game, and the players feel good about it, they were happy, so that's good.
(On the play by the 7th rounders, specifically Justin Forsett….) The little guy can really play. I said that from the get go, though, that he is really a good football player, he is just small by today's standards. He doesn't think he is small, and that is half the battle. He is a good little player. And Brandon Coutu did a nice job of kicking the ball. Our young guys; I think Owen Schmitt made a couple of nice plays in there, a couple of our young receivers made nice plays. In that respect I was pleased. I was displeased with the turnovers, clearly, and our special teams, and our penalties. Way too many penalties, my goodness.
(On the play of Charlie Frye…. ) In attempt to define Seneca's situation a little bit more, I wanted to see how Charlie would handle a game, going with our first string guys, and then coming out after halftime and all the things you have to do. He was in a lot of different situations tonight, so it will be a good film study thing for him. Plus, Matt had tweaked his back and Seneca had a little tight groin, and all of that thrown together, he played the whole game. I will reserve judgment until I see the film. Obviously, we can't throw that many interceptions; that's bad. He got pressured pretty good and made some nice plays. But I will wait and evaluate that later.
(On Sean Locklear…) He hurt his knee, we'll know more tomorrow like always. They think he will be ready for the first ball game, that is what they told me. We'll know much more tomorrow about that.
(On the decision making by Charlie Frye…) I have to wait and see the film. The one interception, the way he was running and kind of threw it, that's kind of dangerous and that is trying to make a play but when he is in the end zone, it is tough. You probably don't throw that one. I think he would agree with me. He got blitzed and he threw hot, in a play that we really don't have a legitimate hot receiver, so that was inexperience. I can't think of the third one, but his decision making was okay for a first time of playing the whole game. But, I expect a lot out of the quarterbacks. We'll see where he is.
(On whether Justin Forsett can make the team…) That's a decision, that will be a tough call at the end. He will be involved in that decision at the end, absolutely. Right now if I said anything about roster, it would be premature, it really would. I like the player and his teammates like him and he produces, but it is a couple games and we have a ways to go here.
