Nothing earth shattering here. Coach Mike Holmgren said Matt Hasselbeck wouldn't practice today. Holmgren said Hasselbeck went through some drills this morning and he's working to strengthen his knee. Holmgren's still hopeful Hasselbeck can play this week, although he said Hasselbeck needs to practice this week in order to play on Sunday.
Seneca Wallace took most of the snaps with the first team, and Holmgren said he'll be the starter on Sunday. Deion Branch worked out with the trainers on the other field while the Seahawks went through team drills, and he's questionable for this week.
Koren Robinson did not practice, resting his knee. That meant Courtney Taylor got some reps with the first unit. Leroy Hill, who usually takes Wednesday off, practiced today.
Lofa Tatapu, who suffered the concussion against Tampa Bay, did practice today.
I talked to Julian Peterson about the San Francisco 49ers changing coaches and he said it will have no affect on Seattle's game plan this week.
"We're still going to do the same thing," Peterson said. "We all know that Mike Martz is the offensive coordinator. And we know Singletary is working the defense. So we'll still get pretty much the same stuff, and we've got to execute."
Also, Holmgren talked about all of the speculation involving him with the 49ers in a conference call with San Francisco-area reporters. You can read those comments on Matt Maiocco's 49ers blog here.
