(On the state of the team….) "We have been fighting and we will continue to keep fighting. We are coming into work each day and keep going."
(On the play of the defense in the first quarter…) "It was awesome and that is what we want. We came in here and set the tempo and the defense. They had figured out some things and we missed a few big plays."
(On adjustments made by the Philadelphia offense…) "I would guess at the start of the game we were able to get pressure on [Donovan] McNabb and he couldn't see his receivers. I think they changed their protection packages to give him a little more time and little better vision."

(On thinking that they were off to a good start when Koren Robinson scored on their first play…) "Yeah. Well you know, we had our crowd in it. It's a great way to start. It gets the crowd revved up and then we played off that on defense and got them on several three-and-outs. But it's a four-quarter game and we know that. You don't play off the crowd's energy for four quarters. You execute or you don't. They executed well and got in a rhythm. [Donovan] McNabb's a good football player and we needed to find more ways to get him out of rhythm. We picked him off the one time, but he's going to keep coming at you and we just didn't do enough today. They played well."
(On the defense not making excuses even when they've been on the field for most of the game…) "It's not an excuse. We're paid to do a job, and that's to disrupt the quarterback and tackle the running back when he breaks out. We take a lot of pride in doing those things. No matter the circumstances, when we don't get our job done, we got to go back to the drawing board and find ways to get better. What that does is, it tightens up your game, and when everything's cooking and when we get the ball rolling forward again, then we're that much of a better secondary and I'm that much of a better safety. That's what we're going to do. We're going to keep attacking, keep working to get better, and come up with some wins."
