(On finally winning in Seattle…) It was big. I've never won here, and I've been here five years. So it was important for us to get this victory, and it was just a great team win. Neil did a great job finishing off some drives we weren't able to be successful on. DRC (Domoinique Rodgers-Cromartie), the defense, (Karlos) Dansby, and those guys just played outstanding for us.
(On making big plays…) Guys have just been anxious in practice. You see guys making plays finishing, the defense has been doing a great job. It's been a total team effort. When you're winning, everybody wants to have their part in it. Our coaches are doing a great job of designing new things for us to keep us hungry and keeping the tension high, and this is so much fun.
(On winning "ugly"…) We're playing in Seattle. Seattle is a great football team and plyaing at home, and they had (Matt) Hasselbeck and the crowd was doing a great job of keeping them in the game. But they also have a Hall of Fame coach. He's going to have them prepared. So, you've got to tip your hats to them. They're going to keep playing hard. We had them down. We would have liked to have closed the game out but unfortunately we weren't able to do that. A win is a win. Two weeks from now no one will remember the score. All they'll see is the W.
(On the performance of the receivers…) I'm not sure what we finished with. I just think we had some good things going on. When he (Kurt Warner) is back there and can read the field, there is nobody better in the business. We're fortunate to have his services. Me and Q (Anquan Boldin), we're just the recipients of some pretty good throws.
(On routes…) I don't know if we were running great routes. We were getting open enough to make some catches, keep the chains moving. But we definitely have to get back in there and fix some problems. We've been fantastic all this season in the red zone. We have to correct that problem. We can't get down there and come away with three points. We need seven.
(On the close outcome…) We let that one get away. We had some good things going on that drive. The only time we really feel we can be stopped is when we turn the ball over. We'd shoot ourselves in the foot. But we were able to be resilient. That's the most important thing.
