The Seattle Seahawks will begin their first veteran minicamp this afternoon, and three tryout players have been added to the roster.
Kirtman was in training camp last season and one of the final cuts. After being released by Seattle, Kirtman was picked up and released by the San Francisco 49ers. With Kirtman in camp, you have to wonder whether or not the Seahawks are still interested in signing Justin Griffith.
Simmons is a Western Washington grad from Kentlake High who had a cup of coffee with the Raiders last season.
The Seahawks took a look at Poppinga last season. He also spent some time on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.
A few other things of interest. Ray Willis is listed as a guard on the team's roster, while Jordan Babineaux is listed as a strong safety. I'll have more later.
