From Mike Sando's NFC West blog, agent Drew Rosenhaus announced via twitter that the Seattle Seahawks have signed cornerback Travis Fisher to a one-year deal. This move comes as little surprise, with the Hawks' Marcus Trufant already on the active/PUP list with a sore back.
The Seahawks only have five cornerbacks available, and have been playing Jamar Adams at corner to beef up numbers there. This does make you wonder, however, how serious Trufant's injury is.
Fisher is a seven-year veteran that has mostly started in the league, including eight starts with the Detroit Lions last season.
But for right now we'll consider this a move to add depth for Seattle to get through camp.
