Final: Cardinals 27, Hawks 3

One word - brutal. In a contest that the Seattle Seahawks deemed critical to the team's playoff aspirations, they essentially laid an egg at home against Arizona.

The Cardinals scored the first 17 points and took the crowd out of the game early. The offense never got going, as the Cardinals blitzed Seattle's make-shift line and had Matt Hasselbeck throwing off his back foot all day.

And defensively, once again Seattle had no answer for Larry Fitzgerald. Few do. He's considered the best receiver in the game for a reason. View all the gory, statistical details here.

At 2-4 and in third place in the NFC West heading into the bye week, are the Seahawks done? They play four of their next five on the road in November, including trips to Dallas, Arizona, Minnesota and St. Louis. The team's lone home game during that stretch is against Detroit. It will be a tough, uphill road to get back into playoff contention.

But they should get some players back healthy, with Sean Locklear, Rob Sims, Marcus Trufant and Leroy Hill all expected back after the bye week.
