My story today emphasizes the fact that new Seahawks GM John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll are speaking the same language. Carroll said he’s not afraid to play younger players, and the key is finding what they do well and giving them specific roles.
Schneider comes from a team that had the youngest roster in the league, and said Carroll’s philosophy of giving players specific roles makes it easier to find players to fit those roles.
TNT’s Dave Boling notes that even though Carroll will call the shots, at first blush the two appear to be a pairing of like minds.
