Looks like QB Seneca Wallace will be reunited with his former coach Mike Holmgren, now the man in charge for the Cleveland Browns.
First reported by ESPN, and later confirmed by the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns have traded with the Seahawks for Wallace. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. I'll have more later.
Update: The Seahawks also have confirmed the trade. Seattle traded Wallace for an undisclosed draft pick in 2011, according to a press release the team just sent out. Here's a quote from general manager John Schneider.
"This will give Seneca a chance for a fresh start," Schneider said. "The Browns front office's familiarity with his abilities will give him an opportunity to compete for playing time. We wish him nothing but the best."
