Weekend Links: Irvin says hip feels better, big injury questions remain

Bruce Irvin's offseason hip surgery was among a trio of surprise injury fixes for the Seahawks.

Strong safety Kam Chancellor also had hip surgery, and left tackle Russell Okung had foot surgery. That forced each out of the offseason workout sessions. Chancellor and Okung were able to lift weights, but did not participate in any on-field work.

Irvin says his recuperation is going well, despite it not being enjoyable.

Head coach Pete Carroll said Chancellor and Okung have a chance to be ready July 25 for the start of training camp. It will be quite a bit longer before Irvin comes back.
