OTAs end with a big day from Tharold Simon

The 10th, and final, OTA is in the books. The Seahawks practiced for a long time Thursday, spending almost two hours on the field.

Marshawn Lynch again was not in attendance. It was not a scheduled day for Pete Carroll to meet with the media, so no comments from him or the organization about the reports of Lynch wanting to change his contract and possibly not attending next week's mandatory minicamp. As of now, Lynch has not informed the Seahawks that he will be skipping mandatory minicamp.

Max Unger did chat with the media. To summarize, he said he wouldn't be bothered by Lynch not being there as long as "he does his thing on Sunday." Unger was unconcerned about the topic.

Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas did not participate. They did coach, however. Thomas spent the entire practice fully dressed to play, including wearing a helmet throughout. He barked instructions from the back of the end zone.

Sherman advised Tharold Simon much of the day, and it seemed to work. Simon had a pick of Russell Wilson and Tarvaris Jackson. One on a deep sideline pass and another in the end zone. Wilson was intercepted three times during 11-on-11 drills. The third came from Akeem Auguste. As the ball hung in the air, Sherman saw an opportunity for a pick. He sprinted down the sideline screaming, "Get that money!" Auguste was able to cut in front of the receiver for the interception. Wilson was also intercepted by Chandler Fenner after Eric Pinkins tipped a pass.

Sherman informed Wilson, "We're wearing you out, Russ!"

There was a rally by Wilson late in practice. Jermaine Kearse caught two touchdowns, one against Pinkins.

A few other quick hits:

> Simon said he is feeling better after two surgeries on his feet. The last one was Feb. 12 and he got up to full speed about a month ago. He had a stress fracture in one foot and a broken bone in the other.

> Paul Richardson again sat out. Like prior OTAs, he jumped in to hear the call in the huddle, but did not participate.

> Rookie OL Garrett Scott, who was waived after singing his contract because of a rare heart condition, was here. He helped grab blocking pads and watched all the offensive line drills.

> With Tarvaris Jackson back, Terrelle Pryor took few snaps. But, on one, he was able to go on a long run around the right side.

> Kevin Norwood hauled in another deep touchdown pass today.

> Ricardo Lockette had a bad drop, but then came up with a high-pointed leaping catch over the middle later.

> Lots of Alvin Bailey at left tackle today with Russell Okung still not participating.

> A heavy defensive line look with Tony McDaniel at 5-technique and Jesse Williams at 3-technique was used today.

> WR Chris Matthews, LB Heath Farwell and SS Kam Chancellor continues to sit out.

> A.J. Jefferson was not in attendance.
