May 8-10: NFL draft.

May 27-29, June 2-3, June 5, June 9-12: OTA offseason workouts

Other offseason news and notes:

-- The day the Seahawks announced Pete Carroll's extension, a source told the News Tribune that Seattle had not begun extension talks with Earl Thomas. That was last Thursday. I'd expect that to change shortly, if it hasn't already. The Seahawks have repeatedly said their main pursuit is to keep their core together.

-- Carroll has said during the offseason McDaniel will be used to replace Bryant as the five-technique defensive end.

-- We detailed here how the Seahawks have to figure out where, and if, to spend money on their young linebackers.

-- Tight end Jermichael Finley visited the Seahawks, but still has physical issues to resolve before joining any team.

-- We saw the Seahawks be very conservative with their cap space and contract offers to all players during the offseason. It appears the only player they offered near-market value to was Bennett, who re-signed. They have $14,923,737 remaining in cap space, according to the NFLPA.
