The Seattle Seahawks have signed offensive lineman Greg Van Roten to a 2014 future contract, the team announced today.
Van Roten originally signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on July 25, 2012. He was released at the end of training camp in 2012 but signed to the Packers practice squad on September 4, and was signed to the active roster on October 13, 2012. He played in 10 games for the Packers (seven in 2012, three in 2013) before being placed on injured reserve (foot) in October of 2013.
His agent says Van Roten is healed.
