Carroll says he doesn't think expecting Harvin for Arizona game is 'realistic'

Pete Carroll said today they will be patient with Percy Harvin, who is coming off hip surgery. The soonest Harvin would be eligible to play is Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Here's what he said about Harvin:

"He's movin'. He's excited and he's running. We're hoping for the very best that there's not setbacks along the way and we keep progressing with him.

Will he be back for the Arizona game?) "I don't think that's realistic. I think that's too soon to expect that to happen. It will happen. When it's ready and he's ready to go and we get a chance to prepare so he's physcially capable of being safe and he's a full-on, full-speed football player; he's got to be ready to go. Really when he comes back we want him to be able to endure the rigors of the end of the season. It's not important to rush him back, it's important to wait it out and get him out there when he's ready to go."
