First reported by Adam Caplan, Lakes High product and University of Washington standout Reggie Williams has signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
A first round selection of Jacksonville in the 2004 draft, Williams never lived up to the lofty expectations while with the Jaguars.
Williams, 30, totaled 189 receptions for 2,332 yards and 18 touchdowns in five seasons with Jacksonville.
In 2010, Williams was signed to Seattle’s 90-man roster, brought in to compete with another reclamation project, Mike Williams. However, Reggie Williams was released before the beginning of training camp.
