The Seattle Seahawks announce that quarterback Josh Portis has been re-signed to a two-year deal. Portis spent all of 2012 on the practice squad, and was released in November.
Portis, 25, had signed a contract to play for the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL, so I don't know what type of moves the Seahawks had to do for him to wiggle out of the contract. But with Portis in the fold, Seattle now has two quarterbacks on the roster as the team is set to begin offseason workouts on April 15.
