The Seattle Seahawks made the Percy Harvin trade official this afternoon. Seattle's new wide receiver is expected to be introduced this afternoon here at the VMAC at 3 p.m. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider also are expected to be available.
The Seahawks officially announced that they gave up first and seventh-round picks in this year's draft, and a third-rounder in 2014 for Harvin's services.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Jason Jones, a Detroit native, is expected to visit the Lions today.
Also, I can confirm that returner Leon Washington will be released.
