The Seattle Seahawks announced that right tackle Breno Giacomini underwent successful arthoscopic surgery on his right elbow this morning at Seattle Surgery Center.
The surgery was performed by team doctor Ed Khalfayan. Giacomini was listed on the team’s injury report the last week of the regular season against the St. Louis Rams, and played with the issue throughout the NFC playoffs.
Recovery time is expected to be four to six weeks for Giacomini’s elbow issue, so he should be ready for the start of Seattle's off-season workout program at the end of March.
