As expected, the Seattle Seahawks made a couple roster moves to shore up their depth heading into Sunday's contest against Cleveland.
Seattle released defensive tackle Jason Shirley and linebacker Stephen Franklin from the active roster. Both were recent additions and had short stays in Seattle.
And with the two free spots, the Seahawks brought tight end Cameron Morrah off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list to the active roster, and also added safety Chris Maragos from the practice squad.
The Morrah move was somewhat expected because Seattle had only one healthy tight end with Zach Miller still out, but I am a little surprised by Maragos because I don't think he'll be on the active roster on Sunday.

But maybe Seattle was concerned a team was interested in adding Maragos to their active roster, and the Seahawks wanted to make sure they kept the Wisconsin product around.
