The Seattle Seahawks must have looked at the lack of depth in the interior line during workouts today, and the fact they haven’t been able to get a deal done to bring back Brandon Mebane in free agency, and figured they needed to do something.
First reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, I can confirm the Seahawks have signed former Arizona defensive lineman Alan Branch. Schefter reports that it’s a two-year, $8 million deal.
The Seahawks also will bring back defensive tackle Junior Siavii. The Oregon product was productive up front for Seattle, starting six games at both defensive tackle and defensive end.
