2nd round: Hawks trade No. 57 pick to Detroit

The Seattle Seahawks made a trade today, something we expected would happen in the first round.

Seattle traded its No. 57 overall pick in the second round to Detroit for

The Lions then selected Illinois running back Mikel Leshoure with Seattle's original pick.

So here's the deal:Seattle gives up second round pick (No.57), a fifth round (157) and a seventh (209).And the get Detroit's 3rd (75th), 4th (107), 5th (154) and 7th (205).

So basically the Seahawks traded a second-round pick for Detroit's third and fourth-round picks, and swapped spots to move up in the fifth and seventh-rounds.

So here's an update on Seattle's picks. They have nine now.
