Eric called and wanted me to post this:
After45 minutes of practice, head coach Pete Carroll met with reporters and told them that Matt Hasselbeck will get the start in Saturday's playoff game vs. the New Orleans Saints.
Carroll had been coy about whether Hasselbeck or Charlie Whitehurst would start, but there were hints in his Wednesday briefing that he was leaning towards the veteran. Carroll also told Hasselbeck early in the week that if he was healthy, he would start.
Hasselbeck has played in nine postseason games and has a record of 4-5 while throwing for 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

He did have one of his best games of this season against the Saints. He completed 32-of-44 passes for 366 yards and a touchdown in a 34-19 loss.
Is this a good decision, a bad decision, the right decision, the only decision?
