The Seattle Seahawks announced this afternoon that they've added cornerback Josh Pinkard and offensive guard Lemuel Jeanpierre from the practice squad to the active roster.
The two players fill spots vacated by offensive guard Chester Pitts (head) and tight end Chris Baker (tight end) when they were placed on the season-ending, injured reserve list earlier this week.
Seattle could be looking at Jeanpierre to fill in as depth along the interior line if Sean Locklear cannot make it back and play on Saturday, with Stacy Andrews currently filling in at right tackle. Locklear has been attending to a serious family issue and missed practice all this week.
Pinkard provides another option in the secondary along with special teams. Pinkard can play both corner or safety, and at 6-1, 218 can matches up well with bigger receivers.
