Hawks inactives: Dockett out for Cards

Greetings from University of Phoenix Stadium. Again, perfect conditions outside, but for some reason they don't like to open the retractable roof here so it will remain closed.

The biggest surprise today is defensive end Darnell Dockett will not be active today for Arizona because of a shoulder injury. Dockett had been limited in practice this week and listed as questionable on the team's injury report on Friday, but was expected to play on Sunday.

This is the first game Dockett has missed in his seven-year NFL career, a streak that includes 104 straight games played.

Alan Branch will start for Dockett. And Branch had a good game up in Seattle, finishing with five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

Arizona running back Beanie Wells (knee) also is on the inactive list. Tim Hightower will start in his place.

For Seattle, J.P. Losman, Brandon Stokley, Michael Robinson, Mike Gibson, Russell Okung, Golden Tate, Colin Cole and E.J. Wilson are on the inactive list.

That means Ruvell Martin, who the Seahawks just re-signed today, will be active and serve as the team's fourth receiver.

For Arizona, WR Max Komar, QB John Skelton, CB A.J. Jefferson, SS Hamza Abdullah, Wells, LB Cyril Obiozor, C Ben Claxton and Dockett are inactive.
