According to the Boston Herald, the Patriots have had preliminary talks with the Seahawks about acquiring wide receiver Deion Branch.
Before you guys start celebrating, these talks appear to be in the early stages.
Branch started his career with the Patriots when he was selected in the second round out of Louisville. He played four seasons in New England and was the 2004 Super Bowl MVP.
However with the emergence of Brandon Stokley, Branch becomes even less valuable to the Seahawks.
