Morning links: Forsett and zone blocking

A few links to start your morning. Doug Farrar of Yahoo Sports’ The Shutdown Corner details why running back Justin Forsett should have an even better season under Alex Gibb’s version of the zone blocking scheme.

Steve Wyche of the NFL Network offers some restrained optimism for the Seahawks this season.

Russell Okung had this to say about offensive line coach Alex Gibbs when asked if the zone blocking guru had a few words for him when he arrived on the practice field.

“Oh, yeah, he had a lot of words for me,” joked Okung. “But that’s just him. And I’m going to take the coaching, and I’m going to get better every day.”
