Confirmed: Hawks send CB Wilson to Ravens

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks have sent cornerback Josh Wilson to the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional fifth-round pick.

UPDATE: The Seahawks just confirmed the move, stating the team traded Wilson to Baltimore for a conditional 2011 choice. It's being reported the pick is a fourth or fifth rounder.

The Seahawks have not confirmed this move yet, but there has been speculation that a defensive back from Seattle could be headed to Baltimore. Most of that speculation had involved Kelly Jennings.

This move certainly comes as a surprise. But Seattle must feel comfortable with their cornerback depth, particularly with the way rookie Walter Thurmond has played, along with Roy Lewis.

For Wilson, a Washington D.C-area native who also starred at the University of Maryland, the move is a return to familiar surroundings.

Also, new offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus was at practice today. The Seahawks gave up an undisclosed pick in 2012, likely a late-round pick, for Polumbus, who got some work with the second and third units today.
