The Seahawks get their man at No. 6, selecting Oklahoma State offensive tackle Russell Okung to replace Walter Jones at left tackle, who will likely retire this offseason.
The 36-year-old Jones missed the last, 20 games with Seattle due to microfracture knee surgery he had in December 2008. And with Ray Willis currently playing left tackle, the Seahawks were looking to add depth to the offensive line.
A four-year starter at Oklahoma State, Okung was considered the top tackle prospect heading into this year's draft.
Okung is the highest offensive tackle selected by the Seattle Seahawks since the team selected Jones at No. 6 overall in 1997.
