Chancellor, Okung inactive, Baldwin and Bennett active, Kasen Williams making NFL debut

Doug Baldwin is active after missing two practices this week to rest a sore hamstring, to try to continue being the NFL’s hottest wide receiver. He had been listed as questionable to play.

Michael Bennett is active after resting a sore toe, so he’ll start as usual at defensive end. He had also been questionable.

Kam Chancellor (pelvis) and Russell Okung (calf) are inactive. So Kelcie McCray will start at strong safety for the second consecutive week and second time in his career, and Alvin Bailey is starting at left tackle.

And Kasen Williams is inactive a day after his promotion from the Seahawks’ practice squad. The former Washington Huskies wide receiver whose career got derailed in the fall of 2013 by a broken leg and displaced bones in his foot is making his NFL debut today as a thankful, undrafted rookie.

That’s the pregame news from the pregame of Seattle’s home finale against St. Louis.

The rest of the inactives for the Seahawks (9-5) against the Rams (6-8): RB Marshawn Lynch (training at home in the Bay Area, his return still unknown) following abdominal surgery Nov. 25), rookie reserve OL Kristjan Sokoli (as usual), reserve TE Chase Coffman, DT Jordan Hill (toe, missing his fourth consecutive game) and reserve DT A.J. Francis.
