Darwin Jones talks young lineup, 2-1 loss

Here's some of what Sounders homegrown Darwin Jones had to say about his play at that of a lot of other young players tonight in a 2-1 loss to the New England Revolution.

On all the young starters: We were definitely excited because we had a lot to prove because there was a lot of us it was our first opportunity getting out there and playing. So we just wanted to go out there and have some fun.

On his assist of Kenny Cooper's goal: It definitely was a boost because the last couple of days I’ve been playing outside and the focus has been me getting isolated on the wing and going at the right back. So I did it first try and it definitely worked. I liked that.

On his connection with left back Andres Correa: It’s definitely a work in progress, but we’re definitely getting better with it. The more we communicate the better it is for us. He’s new to the team, so we’re going to work with each other to fill in and help each other out.
