Schmid has few complaints after loss

Here's some of what coach Sigi Schmid had to say today after the Sounders' 1-0 loss in LA:

Overview: It’s the game of soccer, the game of football. Last week I didn’t think we played really well, and we walked off the field 1-0 winners. This week I thought we played pretty well. I thought we had more chances, more clean-cut changes. Their goalkeeper comes up with a ton of saves: some hit him, some saves he makes. We end up losing the game 1-0. I didn’t think based on our performance we deserved to lose. I thought we were as good if not better for large portions of the game. But that’s the way the game goes sometimes.

On Lamar Neagle: He brought a lot of energy. He played up top, which sometimes he’s more comfortable at. But I just thought his energy was better. (He had five shots), he had some good looks. I thought he played well.

On Cristian Roldan: I thought Cristian played well. I thought he sort of ran out of gas toward the end, so we had to take him off. But I think soccer-wise I thought he played well. I thought he had a good game today. I thought Dylan Remick had a good game attacking along the left side for us. I was pleased. There’s not guys I can point to and say didn’t play well.I thought our guys played pretty well today.

On possibility of Clint Dempsey's return next week: "We're hoping so."
