Major League Soccer has announced the home openers for all of the 16 teams that will take the pitch in 2010.
Two of those games will involved Seattle Sounders FC.
For the second consecutive season, the Sounders will host the league's kickoff game: 6:30 p.m. March 25, vs. the expansion Philadelphia Union at Qwest Field in a game nationally televised on ESPN2. (Here's a take from the Delaware County Daily Times.)
And here's a quote from owner Joe Roth provided by the Sounders:

“Being selected to participate in the first match of the season is a testament to the passion and energy of our fans. They have created an exciting atmosphere that is respected by coaches and players throughout the league.”
The Sounders will also be Real Salt Lake's home-opening opponent, April 10 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
