Sounders hero to appear at Doyle's this week

Last week I received a note from Doyle's Public House in Tacoma that Roger Levesque would be making a personal appearance there this week. And the Levesque turns up as the goal-scoring hero of the Sounders' 1-0 win Saturday at Columbus.

Here's the note from Doyle's:

Doyle's will host the original Sounder, Roger Levesque, Wednesday, October 7th at 7pm. He will be signing autographs & posing for pictures at a meet & greet for Sounder fans from the South Sound. You must be 21+ to attend.

And finally, here's one more quote from Levesque from after the Crew game that didn't previously get into the paper or this blog:

“Our main goal is to make the playoffs right now and we need every point we can get, so it started with tonight and these three points are unbelievably important. It’ll be the same thing in Kansas City in two weeks; those points are going to be just as important as these were.”
