I couldn't post last week, but I tried to catch up on a few items of note that I'll pass along here.
First, I thought I'd show you the Sounders US Open Cup championship logo that they've been including on some of their recent news releases.
Next, the Portland Timbers have opened their new website for their 2011 expansion franchise, and apparently are now sure enough about their stadium renovation and all other issues that they are moving forward with season-ticket for their 2011 MLS entry.
Meanwhile, here's a look at the USL's attempts to struggle forward, now and in 2011 when Vancouver and Portland graduate to MLS.

As it does, it will continue on without the Cascade Surge of the Premier Development League, a former Tacoma Tide rival that has decided to call it quits after 15 seasons.
I've also got at least one other item that I wanted to pass along, but that will have to wait until this afternoon. It's time to go cover Sounders training and I have to see if I remember how to get to Starfire...
