The teams kicked off at about 5:15, in a driving rain of Chicago.
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to watch to the end. However, I'll keep this blog post open as a spot of any of you to discuss the game, or the result's impact on the MLS standings.
Other possible discussion topics from the ESPN2 announcing team:
* Zach Thornton over Kasey Keller as MLS keeper of the year?

Previous: As mentioned in a post below, the final week of the MLS season begins at 5 p.m. today, when Chivas USA visits the Chicago Fire. The game will be shown on ESPN2.
A win by Chivas would keep them in the race for the Supporters Shield and also would eliminate Seattle from Western Conference title contention. Chicago needs a win or a draw to assure themselves of a place in the playoffs.
