Two Sounders goals and one save remain among the finalists for the MLS' annual goal- and save-of-the year awards, which will be announced a week from today.
The goals are:
Patrick Ianni, SEA (Week 17): Against his former team, the new Sounders FC defender latches onto a loose ball in the six-yard box and delivers an instinctive overhead kick into the left side netting giving Seattle a 2-1 lead over Houston.
Fredy Montero, SEA (Week 28): The 2009 MLS Newcomer of the Year slaloms through the Revolution defense and hits a 30-yard dipping bomb over Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis.

Meanwhile, the nominated Sounders' save doesn't come from Kasey Keller, but rather from:
Tyrone Marshall, SEA (Week 29): Protecting a 1-0 lead on the road in a must-win game, Seattle defender Tyrone Marshall acrobatically redirects a Steven Lenhart header away from the goal and clears the successive rebound attempt.
